Concept of the magazine:
“Mayster” is the only all-Ukrainian full-color Do-It-Yourself format magazine about construction, renovation, repair, furnishing, and decoration. The magazine is an official partner of the European “Do-It-Yourself” magazine group combining the best European experience with opportunities of the Ukrainian construction market. “Mayster” provides readers with unique practical advices about all kinds of improvement of their apartments, houses, gardens, garages, etc. The magazine covers a wide range of DIY topics focusing on the step-by-step implementation of ideas, even complicated professional information is given the simple way. “Mayster” presents in a comprehensive way market trends and novelties, market reviews, new products and technologies and offers ready solutions on construction, renovation and decoration. The magazine mission is to develop the “DIY” segment, improve handwork skills, cultivate a “DIY” culture as a lifestyle, but not only as a necessity or hobby.

“Mayster” proofs that constructing, renovation and decoration can be easy and interesting, and the process will bring enjoyment and satisfaction.

Target group:  
“Mayster” is targeted at broad readership interested in practical solutions for improvement of their apartments, houses. The biggest part is the group of home-constructors - predominantly male readers, aged 30+, with average income, majority married with children, with middle or unfinished higher education. This target audience is dynamic and active, using their own strength and efforts to refurbish or redecorate their living space. They do almost all by themselves – from planning, selection of materials to execution. Second, smaller group consists of semiprofessionals - workers of renovation-construction teams, who act as private entrepreneurs providing services on constructing, renovation mostly without special education, looking for professional information about new products and new technologies available on the Ukrainian market and searching for solutions or good ideas for their customers.
